Bylaws

The league constitution defines these as the bylaws of the League, in this order of authority:

  • League Constitution
  • Statutes
  • Interim Rules
  • Administrative Rules
  • Handbooks of Play
  • FAQ's

The entire set of By-Laws for Team 45 45 League are found on the pages named above.  Each document attempts to focus on one specific area of regulation and organization.

The Constitution deals with the fundamental structures of organization, assigning duties and responsibilities to the various entities within the League. This is the ultimate law of the League. By this document all other rules and regulations are authorized.

The Statutes are rules and regulations for the proper operation of the League. These are much more detailed and we have attempted to present them in a logical, time relevant structure. Here we find the exact procedures for the day to day operations.

The Interim Rules are instituted by the Oversight Committee and have the weight of Statutes. They are created to handle matters that occur during the course of a specific tournament and apply only to that tournament.

The Administrative Rules are like Statutes but deal with very specific areas where frequent changes are necessary. Some areas of operation need far more flexibility than the Statutes allow, and are best written "on the fly" without extensive debate.

The Handbooks of Play are the primers for the various positions within the League. These are provided as more "regular talk" descriptions of how things work. They are intended as a complete guide when everything works as planned.

FAQs or Frequently Asked Questions, is a running list of the questions asked of the League Managers. These are unofficial and may not accurately reflect the current By-Laws.
